Oklahoma is lucky to still have a train roll through every day that takes passengers to Dallas. Well today I heard that my two senators that I have voted for in previous elections, voted not to fund the rail service even though it is heavily used especially in the fall with the college football games. Granted I have only used the service twice but I enjoy the service and the price is cheaper than driving. Not to mention safer. Read the article here on how Senators Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn voted against public transportation. I guess the senators think that everyone can afford H2 Hummers like them and drive them everywhere.
So I urge those of you who support public transportation to call your state senator and tell them how much you disagree with them on their vote.
