New Year but the last year
Well I’ve been late updating my blog as I’ve been busy spending time with family and friends. I’ve also started finalizing my resume and started job hunting and asking people if I may use them as a reference on my resume. This being my last semester of college, I’m nervious as all get out. It’s not that I won’t pass my last semester, it is the difficulty of finding a good job afterwords is what worries me.
I mean my degree is Spanish accounts for something right? I know I can speak Spanish with fluency and even do some translation of letters and the like. I tell someone that I’m getting a degree in Spanish and they automatically assume that I want to teach. I do but not as my first job. That is what I want to do when I retire from the business world. To me, that is the ultimate gift back to the community is by being a teacher. When I give that gift, I want to make sure that it’s the right time.
Well it’s late and I need to get ready to go back to Norman before classes begin.
