Republican who votes democratic

Many of my friends and my girlfriend know that I am a Republican and not a Democrat.  But that doesn’t mean I’ve always been a Republican either nor just a Democrat.  I change sides depending on the issues at hand.

So when I vote, I make sure I read all of the issues on the ballot and have studied the bills and issues so when I do vote, I make an informed descision.  The one thing that irks me the most about some people when they vote, they vote straight party.  They do not make an informed descision.

For example, I also research who I vote for and to whom I contribute to. I’ve donated to both parties and even to the rival candidates in a district.
